壹、 活動名稱：友善校園三部曲II─臺灣原住民族與南島民族校園高峰會 

貳、 活動宗旨：

• 持續推動多元友善校園，建立更為尊重、理解與接納的學習環境
  To promote multicultural friendly campus, and to create a learning environment with more
  respect, understanding, and trust.


• 重構臺灣原住民族與南島文化，營造族群和諧與多元發展的校園學習氛圍
  To review and foster Austronesian cultures and indigenous cultures in Taiwan, and to create
  a campus learning aura of ethnic harmony.


• 以臺灣原住民族與南島民族為軸心，踐行大學社會責任與南向新連結
  To fulfill University Social Responsibility (USR) and positive link to the New Southbound Policy
  centered around Taiwan Indigenous Peoples and Austronesian Peoples.

參、 活動緣起Introduction：

          
       教育部與原住民族委員會於民國101年5月發布大專校院原住民族學生資源中心補助要點，鼓勵全國大專校院設立原住民族學生資源中心，並由教育部於105年12月接續承辦該項業務。主要目的為提供原住民族學生生活、課業及就業輔導、生涯發展、民族教育課程活動等各項協助。因應國家法令的促成，本校於106年6月15日正式成立「學生事務處原住民族學生資源中心」，除承辦原住民族學生相關業務外，也將「提升校內之族群多元文化觀、締造族群友善校園」等視為中心宗旨。

                為持續推動校園內多元文化友善環境，特由學生事務處規劃辦理「友善校園三部曲」。去（107）年辦理的第一部曲以「穆斯林」為中心，題為「成大世界伊斯蘭校園高峰會」；今（108）年擬定辦理的第二部曲以「臺灣原住民族」為中心，題為「臺灣原住民族與南島民族校園高峰會」。

                臺灣自105年底制定新南向政策具體工作計畫，從「經貿合作」、「人才交流」、「資源共享」及「區域鏈結」等面向積極實行。有鑑於第二部曲之軸心為「臺灣原住民族」，探究其歷史、地理、文化及語言，實與南島民族多有相似之處，甚至諸多研究結果顯示臺灣為南島民族之發源地。因此，本次友善校園三部II，除以臺灣原住民族為高峰會主角，更希望能帶入南島民族相關之議題、研究，多方了解兩者之間的異同，並希望能取經於南島國家針對原住民族採取之友善校園政策、友善校園營造等，使得本校未來在制訂未來學校經營策略時，能對少數族群有更加友善的思量。

               成功大學為臺灣舉足輕重之綜合大學，冀能以今年度辦理之「友善校園三部曲II─臺灣原住民族與南島民族校園高峰會」開啟臺灣南部原住民族與南島民族文化、人才交流之先鋒。此次交流機會，可望更加提升本校多元文化友善教育環境之營造，帶動周邊社區、城市與全臺高等院校對於多元文化議題之重視，促進臺灣原住民族與南島民族文化、研究之交流。未來，本校期許此高峰會後，可促成臺灣與南島國家、區域大專校院之合作與資源共享。

According to the Directions for Indigenous Student Resource Center (2012), released by Council of Indigenous Peoples and Ministry of Education, Taiwan, Indigenous Student Resource Center (ISRC) on our campus was established on June 15^th, 2017. The mission of ISRC is not only to provide consultations on school life, career, and ethnic education for indigenous students, but also to promote and build a more multicultural friendly campus.

To achieve the ends set above, NCKU Office of Student Affairs organized An International Campus Trilogy, and the prelude-NCKU World Muslim Campus Summit had accomplished in June, 2018. This year, we shall focus on Taiwan’s indigenous people and Austronesian peoples as the theme of 2019 NCKU Summit on Austronesian Peoples.

The theme of 2019 NCKU Summit on Austronesian Peoples focus primarily on indigenous peoples in Taiwan and Austronesian Peoples, and we will address the topics on history, geography, cultures, and languages. In addition, this Summit per se is a fabulous opportunity to engage in rigorous academic, cultural, and educational exchange, and we also expect this Summit to further deeper co-operations and diplomatic ties between Taiwan and the Austronesian countries.
